You will find no gimmicks offering unrealistic net returns, fancy loan structures, offshore enterprises or similar aggressive tax avoidance schemes.  In fact, we operate a stringent expense policy in-line with HMRC guidelines and will always look to protect our interests in this respect, therefore ensuring the same fundamentals are placed on our employees and agencies.

From April 2016 HMRC Travel and Subsistence legislation put restrictions of Umbrella Employees claiming for Travel and Subsistence unless not under Supervision, Direction or Control (SDC).

  • Most contractors are deemed to be under SDC. For the avoidance of doubt, We Pay will always assume our employees are under SDC unless specifically advised otherwise.
  • We Pay operates robust control tests and policies for any employee operating under outside of SDC and who can therefore legitimately claim Travel and Subsistence.
  • We Pay will always work with clients to ensure employees who can continue to claim Travel and Subsistence, can do so without overloading the burden onto you.
  • We Pay offers comprehensive insurance cover including Employers Liability, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. This is supplied by market leaders in providing insurance cover to the Umbrella and Recruitment markets and our highly recommended brokerage,’ Jelf Group’.

Our PAYE Umbrella has evolved from listening to agencies and contractors over many years. This has culminated in a highly competitive service where relationships are at the forefront of everything we do.

Since the introduction of Travel and Subsistence Allowance in April 2016, We Pay understands the negative effect this has had on many contractors working within the temporary market.  As such we feel it’s only appropriate to make sure we continue to strive to offer greater value to our contractors.

All payments are made directly from We Pay via PAYE with all tax and NI contributions deducted at source and paid across to HMRC.  Faster Payments are standard ensuring same day transfers and no delays in payment processing.
